LG Uplus is working with Arize AI, a global AI agent observability and evaluation company, to build a framework for operating AI agents accurately, reliably, and safely.
LG Uplus announced on September 1, “We have signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Arize AI to cooperate in the technical field to manage the performance and quality of AI agents and enhance their safety.” The company explained, “As the use of AI expands in corporate work environments, it is necessary to continuously monitor the performance and response quality of AI agents and establish a system to proactively manage errors and risk factors.”
Arize AI is a company that measures the performance of generative AI and AI agents and analyzes errors. It provides AI service quality management solutions to various companies in telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, distribution, and other sectors.
Through this agreement, the two companies will promote ‘cooperation in developing Korean language and voice-based AI evaluation technology,’ ‘cooperation in safety device technology to prevent AI from generating inaccurate or inappropriate responses,’ and ‘exploring joint business opportunities in the domestic B2B market.’
Sangyeob Lee, LG Uplus CTO, said, “As AI becomes a core part of corporate work environments, reliability and operational stability are emerging as key competitive factors alongside performance.” He added, “Through cooperation with Arize AI, we will strengthen our AI operations management capabilities and provide AI services that customers can trust.”
